Mr. Michael J. Fuess, PE, PTOE is a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer with over 30 years of post-university experience in various roadway related tasks. He has prepared and managed the preparation of various engineering reports along with Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E). He has been responsible for operation of traffic signal systems and intelligent transportation systems. Some areas of responsibility include the following:
- roadway capital improvement program management;
- traffic engineering; supporting metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs);
- traffic operations; roadway design; encroachment permit processing;
- coordination with land developers;
- management of highway maintenance activities;
- management of field construction activities;
- roadway related administrative tasks;
- prepare draft revisions to municipal ordinance for City Council approval;
- providing customer service to internal & external clients;
- coordinating with internal & external stakeholders; and
- personnel management.
